ZSEC privacy notice

Effective 30 September 2026. This notice applies to the ZSEC Antivirus and ZSEC Browser Windows Store listings. Microsoft Store and Windows apply their own privacy notices to installation and platform services.

Scope: this page describes the advertised local security-tool and browser use. It is not a claim that third-party websites, feeds, the operating system or Microsoft collect no data.

ZSEC Antivirus

When you choose a scan, the selected files or folders are inspected on your device. Scan results and diagnostic reports may include local paths, file hashes, rule matches, counts and errors. Review reports before sharing them. The scanner is designed for local, on-demand inspection; it does not require a TalkToAI account or an AI service for its scan.

If you choose to download app updates or public rule/advisory data, the serving provider receives a normal network request and may process connection data such as your IP address. Provider retention is governed by that provider's terms.

ZSEC Browser

Pages you visit receive standard browser requests, including your IP address and the information needed to load the pages. Websites and third-party services you choose may set cookies, retain activity or collect data under their own notices. Browser history, cookies, downloads and preferences may be stored locally by the app or Windows. Review browser settings and clear local browsing data on the device when needed.
