OpenZero-tuned local assistant
Desktop 7.8.1 keeps opened OpenZero, ZeroThink, ZMail and CallChat workspaces mounted as you switch. Its fast local Assistant now uses the verified OpenZero Qwen3-1.7B Agentic Q4_K_M model, can summarize the visible signed-in ZMail inbox, and can open compose; you review the message before pressing Send.
Connect Chrome or Brave
Install the official OpenZero Tab Pilot extension, keep OpenZero running locally, then use one-click local connection. Each tab and consequential action still requires your approval.

Desktop and mobile shells are Apache-2.0. Security contracts and packaging locks are public.

HTTPS for remote services, origin allowlists on desktop, OS credential storage for desktop tokens. ZSEC folder scanning is a desktop feature. No product can guarantee detection of every threat — keep your OS protections enabled.
